Privacy first. Most online metadata tools upload your photo to a server to read it. This one never does: the photo is parsed entirely in your browser, on your machine, and it never leaves your device. That matters when the photo is sensitive: your home, your children, evidence, unpublished work.
Your photos say more than you think. A single photo can carry the exact GPS coordinates of where it was taken, the precise second of capture, your camera or phone model, and the software that touched it. Before sharing a photo publicly, it is worth knowing what it reveals, and removing what you do not want to share. Metadata is not proof. As this tool demonstrates, metadata can be removed (and edited) in one click, so a date or location inside a photo proves nothing by itself. When a photo needs to be evidence (an accident, a property's condition, something you witnessed), what works is a tamper-evident timestamp of the photo's fingerprint. That is what EMOZ does.
