EMOZ uses smart contracts to mint a non-transferable NFT that stores your creation's fingerprint (SHA-256 file hash) along with encrypted metadata that includes your full name, your hashed email address, and a declaration of ownership. This metadata is encrypted using a random salt, which is stored only in your PDF certificate. The NFT itself is written directly to the blockchain with no reliance on external links.

Privacy First
EMOZ does not store your file. We only generate and use its fingerprint in your browser. This means EMOZ is fully agnostic to the content and guarantees total privacy. As long as you keep the original file you certified, you can always prove ownership—without ever having uploaded your idea to EMOZ or anywhere else.
